Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Parade in Rome – Piazza di Spagna (part 3)

Here are several videos recorded recently at a presentation in Rome, Italy for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. We get to see 7 Aventadors lined up together, one in white and another in the model’s identifying orange livery, alongside several other classic Lamborghinis. The Aventador moves around a little but mostly revs its supple V12 engine in the drizzle of a April day in Rome.

Rome: A Living Portrait of an Ancient City (Ancient Society and History)
Rome: A Living Portrait of an Ancient City (Ancient Society and History)
Stephen L. Dyson has spent a lifetime studying and teaching the history of ancient Rome. That unparalleled knowledge is reflected in his magisterial overview of the Eternal City.Rather than look only at the physical development of the city—its buildings, monuments, and urban spaces—Dyson also explores its social, economic, and cultural histories. This unique approach situates Rome against a background of comparative urban history and theory, allowing Dyson to examine the dynamic society that once thrived there. In his personal effort to reconstruct the city, Dyson populates its streets with the hurried politicians, hawking vendors, and animated students that once lived, worked, and studied there, bringing the ancient city to life for a

Entry from: Rome, Italy Entry Title: “Viva Roma!” Entry: “When in Rome…you will never find enough time to do everything there is to do, you will feel yourself developing emphysema from pollution and 2nd hand smoke, you will never want to live without a gelateria, you will smell bad, you will nearly walk your feet off, you will be surprised and awed, and you will never want to leave. At least I didn’t. Rome is definitely one of my favorite cities. The mixture of ancient and new is invigorating and beautiful while being real. The city has an amazing history, and there are many things and places to see, but it is still very much alive. Rome can be touristy, but a traveler doesn’t forget that people are still living their modern lives in the city that ruled for over 1000 years. Buses and subways run by the ruins of the colosseum. People talk on their cell phones in the Roman forum. Electric lighting runs through the catacombs. Cabs zoom down the Appian Way. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Sights we saw: 1. The Colosseum Forum and Palatine Hill — The Forum, as I’m sure you know, was the seat of Rome’s government. There were basilicas, temples, markets, senate buildings, etc. Now, there are mostly only ruins, due to time and the quarrying of the marble by locals, but it is still …

“Sabaudia sea shore” Yoniyahav’s photos around Sabaudia, Italy (nearest seashore to rome itlay)

Preview of Yoniyahav’s blog at TravelPod. Read the full blog here: www.travelpod.com This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator. Entry from: Sabaudia, Italy Entry Title: “Sabaudia sea shore” Entry: “OK, This will be a short update. I left Atzio this morning, glad to leave wasn’t much of a city. I began a short 50 Km ride a long the sea shore area at around 11:00. Roads were OK. Passed through Nettuno, seemed like a nice little beach town. Had my first puncture, relatively close to the camp site. All in all, it was an easy 4 hour ride with an abundance of stops on the way.Sabaudia itself (the city) is not much of a looker; very touristy yet at the moment quite empty. The surrounding area though is gorgeous. South of the city lies a large sea side park which harbors beautiful plant life along sandy dunes. In the distance loom the Napoli mountains and not far from the coast are a few marines and lakes. One of these lakes runs across the outskirts of Sabaudia.” Read and see more at: www.travelpod.com Photos from this trip: 1. “Tent in Atzio the next morning” 2. “On the way to Sabaudia” 3. “First puncture” 4. “Camping in Sabudia – beutiful!” 5. “Camping site” 6. “Sea shore” 7. “Seashore reservation” 8. “Bike and the reservation” 9. “Sabaudia…” 10. “The lagoon, or lake near Sabudia” 11. “Back at the camp – ready for a nap” See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com
