Ben MacLean is a 14-year-old 8th grader at York Middle School in York, southern Maine. He represented Maine at the 2011 National Geographic Bee. He would like to travel to every continent. He plays baseball, basketball and football. What he likes about geography is learning about different cultures. Ben will be competing at the National Geographic Bee championship in Washington, DC Watch on the National Geographic Channel Thursday, May 24 at 8 pm ET.
