Students from Alabama go to France. In this episode we meet the University of Alabama’s Alabama in France class. Anxiety and rattled nerves prevail as they make their journey across the Atlantic Ocean from Birmingham, AL. In the summer of 2008, Joshua J. Hamilton of wellthatscool.com participated with the Alabama in France program offered by the University of Alabama and Capstone International Programs. He took a video camera, and filmed himself and his fellow students as they spent one week in Paris, and four weeks in Tours, France, enduring intensive language courses at L’Institut de Touraine, and living with French host families. Stranger in French tells the story of a group of students from different backgrounds coming together for an amazing summer abroad.
