beautiful, Like, Smile, Sting
Exactly my thoughts. The time sigs are pretty disorientating.
tocar uma música em 7/8 não é nada fácil e cantar e tocar ao mesmo tempo essa música é de uma coordenação inexplicável, sting é cara da sutileza, sofisticação harmonica e das melodias vocais intrincadas.
It’s real the truth=)
Amazing performance,…..another gift from Sting “The Master”,..to all of us,…..it’s impossible to stay quiet,…my feet get in movement!!!…….
I suspect Sting [Monsieur Sting? Unknown] secretly enjoys a) watching people trying to dance to songs in 7/4 and b) hearing The Masses–the initiated as well as the Philistine– sing Shakespeare along with him.
What an unlikely song! Shoehorning a classical sonnet into 7/4, **writing a new chorus for it** (this latter deed requiring Balls of the brass variety), giving it all a heavy funk groove, playing bass like a badass, singing like a banshee… We are not worthy, Lads, we are not worthy…
I really love this song, great performance!!! I think is a combination of tempos, between 7/8 and 4/4, only experts could play like this… Simply incredible!!!
Great song…One of my favorite recent pop tunes and hard to find. Lyrics from Shakespeare. Keyboardist Jason Rebello sounding so smooth. Not an easy number to perform live. Check out Sting at 2:09 to Joy Rose giving her the “we nailed it” nod pertaining to the chromatic riff the band just played. Thanks for sharing!
there is only one word-STING!!!!
