“These guys are maggots. They’re putting chemicals in all our food.” – Joe Perry
yea and I was in the third row in Pittsburgh PA at the Stanley Theatre when you guys were on the Toys tour. the opening act was Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes. that was when rock concerts were good and you could actually see the band from almost anywhere in the room.
I love your guitar work but for christ sake..quit picking your face ..your on TV
Can’t wait for Joe’s new book!
ctnd I’d see folks snorting coke at restaurant tables. They’re lucky they didn’t drink themselves to death like John Bonham. There were* still some good performances & Joe did good solo stuff.
I read an early 70s review of AS w/ the ridiculous comparisons to the Stones & LZ. Totally different sound, vocals, not the solo guitar flourish Page had, ST black hair, brown eyes, different teeth & body shape than Mick; one even said Joe looked like Keith. Just dark hair! AS had their unique sound. rant
Some of us are tired of hearing drug stuff ad nauseam, there’s so much about that already out there that it’s boring. Glad Joe talked about the whole culture-AS wasn’t unique, they just went overboard, girlfriend/wives bs, inconsistent sloppy performances. My mom went on those double-decker 747s, bar upstairs, ppl were drunk on planes, Amtrack train bars, suburban kids in my town overdosing, a cousin going to prison for coke trafficking to New England colleges, ppl getting killed. ctnd
JOE PERRY you ROCK! Love you! Always will! Long live AEROSMITH!!!
