the stones were much better when they did not have a bunch of fancy stage shit. just the band playing tight rock and roll. watch ladies and gentleman from the 1972 tour no fancy stage shit but the band was performing great.

Mick Jagger is all business, make not mistake about that. As you can see here, he pretty much personally oversees all aspects of the production. I was curious to see Charlie Watts sitting in with Jagger a few times when they were evaluating stage idea, etc. Also, and I’ve known this from before, but this film highlights how they don’t see each other when they’re not working – 3 years is quite a stretch!
