What a wonderful piece of news! I was just told that this amazing story is being made into a movie. I too approve the Colin Farroll choice. I can’t wait to see the movie rendition of the Grand Central Station ceiling!
This is one of my all-time favorite books/stories from one of my all-time favorite writers. Like most adaptations, no way can the movie do the story justice, but I hope they do a good job of capturing the mood and the “timbre” of Helprin’s fantasy masterpiece.
I think Collin Farrell was a good choice for Peter.
My favorite book becoming a movie?!!! Wow!!!!!!!
Ever since the first time I read WINTER’S TALE in 1983, I’ve been waiting for someone to make a film of it. I am ecstatic that it is finally happening, & really happy to find that I am not alone in looking forward to seeing the final product. Thank you , 247paps, for this video !
BTW – To those of you who have not read the book, I highly recommend it . It is just beautiful from the first line to the last , and if you love NY, you will love this book .
Wow this is some great footage. Just great. After watching this I just can’t get this out of mi head, I’ve been looking for this movie and when its going to be released, but I found nothing. I just didn’t find anything about this movie. Could you please back me up with some information please? Or else I’ll go mad!
But honestly, good job getting this video!
Great Video! I am very proud to be the creator & designer of the crystal embellished bling saddle blanket being used on Russell Crowe’s horse! Thank you to Winter’s Tale Props for contacting me! Reading book now & looking forward to seeing the movie! JUST CHARMIN DESIGNS
Mark Helprin’s novel was a great read [all 668 pages] I read in 2 days. Warner’s owned the rights for 12 years just deciding to film it now.
It was odd to shoot with so many modern influences surrounding the scene. Looking forward to watching the finished movie
Nice job! Right in the action…can’t wait to see this scene with the CGI done..
Thank you, was a great scene. Jackman showing up was very cool
good work once again man
