I bought this book because I have always been intrigued by the music industry as well as biographies of powerful individuals. This book does not disappoint! I could not put it down. One juicy story after another. Not only did I find this book thoroughly entertaining, but educational as well- about a man who molded some of our most influential musicians. If you love rock n’ roll like I do, you must read this book. At a time when music was really music and we had true rock and pop stars, Tommy Mottola ruled the music industry. And this book tells his story. I for one loved it. I seriously want to read more! It’s not often I can read a biography that’s fun, entertaining and leaves me wanting more. It’s an easy read with good details. I want to go back in time and live the glory days of Tommy Mottola!

|I only bought for the Mariah Carey bits,
I skimmed through to see the MC bits so that’s why I gave the book an average rating. What I read was ok I guess. I’m sure if you want to know about a music executive who started many great music artists than…this is the book for you.
