So great he is telling a story with hi guitar
The difference with Mark to Clapton and other guitarists is he composes everything himself and plays effortless, watch Clapton, Hendrix, SRV it looks like work, watch this lunatic it looks like fun!
Fenomeno in terra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No matter how hard anyone tries no one will ever be like Mark Knopfler period.
6:16 & 7:30 tickles, wiggles and giggles. The way he brings it home at 8:10 on is UNREAL.
This performance is really phenomenal.
e o melhor….
Chris witten on drums is amazing
Last solo is awesome.. Whole song is awesome..
Amen to all comments……….MK is beyond belief on that Pensa guitar…….. none better!!!!!!!!
it will be a sad day when they play no more
I went to this very concert back then, and I can tell you it was the best I’ve ever been to. After the show, we realized that they had played more than 2 hours, instead of the scheduled 1.5 h (encores included). Why? Well, they kept playing on and on during the encore because they enjoyed playing. At least, it was the feeling we had. They didn’t do it for the money, yanno.
this epic song was the reason why i learned to play guitar^^
Chicken style, Mark used to do it in several songs. Hard to play chicken style
I see 3 dislikes in top right???? I wonder how anyone can dislike such a legendary singer/songwriter as MK. There’s some odd people about. I know that it’s a good job we’re not all alike but still………
Echoes by Pink Floyd.
I could cry when Knopfler plays like this, he’s the only one who can make me feel that emotional, there’s something about his playing, absolutely perfect.
Epic version. Is there a better song than this? Surely no better outro than this.
How can a 15 minute song seem too short?
the album version is the king pick withers is so tight on the drums
I’m sooooo jealous of people like you who have had the privilege to watch the Straits live in action.
Chi vorebbe andare a paradiso quando abbiamo legendi come Mark Knopfler?
EC, JM, Derek Trucks, BBKing, SRV, they’re all awesome in improvising & playing the blues, you can listen to them for hours. But no matter how amazed you are by their skills, if you listen to Mark Knopfler, it is different…epic. Like something that reaches perfection, or at least comes the closest. He plays in a league of his own …… true story
un brano leggendario..poi la chitarra in mano a Knopfler diventa qualcosa di miracoloso..negli anni che passano…un’eterna primavera…un incanto assoluto…divino
nobody will be able to make a song like this ever.
allways the best.!!!!
vive le dieu Mark
