Celine dion has an english(american) & french career but this song is strong because she’s in french …if she sings this song in english she will have to swit with the american/english society.Here, it’s about Zora, a maghrebi who suffers from racism in her everyday life.And the lyrics make the song stronger , with this perfect interpretation. I’m french and I think english is more a dancing and rythms language and french a slow language with poetry…but english has also nice metaphores !
