Easily their best performance to date..this is the type of song i think her voice fits the best in and i think if this group can continue to get better each week, they can make the finals but of course it depends on the song each week too..B+

K, so how the heck does Ruby sing like that? Like, her talking voice and her singing voice can’t connect in my mind. It is cool. Though, I must say, it is..really easy for that tone to slip behind others. Making AWESOME for duets, but easily overpowered as a lead.
Isn’t that Rachael Lampa? As in the Christian artist I used to listen to as a kid Rachael Lampa? Yeah I don’t mean to be mean, but she was definitely holding back ’cause she has stunning vocals.
Though I generally don’t like Ruby’s voice, I feel like she did really well in this song, her style fits wonderfully
I love ruby. The only reason i rooted for the collective was because of the fact that Ruby blew me away.

The race/jealous card is a lazy excuse/explanation for not everyone loving Ruby! Ruby has an unique way of singing that some like and others don’t. Maybe it’s an acquired taste for some, maybe it just connects and is liked by some, and maybe it doesn’t connect and isn’t liked by some. Let people have opinions and preferences before you point fingers.

the judges like her cause she sings very good as an ALTO & her voice/wat she does with it is extremely unique. When your on a show where almost all the girls are soprano leads, belting notes they cant normally reach… maybe ppl get tired of hearing it.
i cant even listen to their performences because ruby’s voice is so horrible. i don’t get the judges’ fascination with her! her vibrato is TERRIBLE! Rachel is awesome i love her… if she sang lead more times i’d like this group.
