In L.A., I did the chicken 12 different ways… Lemons from Echo Park, herbs from the Hollywood Farmer’s Market… bit of veg with. My puppy was a bit tripped out by the dead chicken in the oven. Gwynnie, we are waiting for you to stop talking to the shallots, as if you were Sylvia Plath still. Hope that is all out of you… for Apple and Moses’ sake. So, skipped the potatoes altogether, as my landlady was Irish, a film editor by trade, I think, with 2 cats.
Does stuffing the chicken with herbs give it any flavor? I usually chop and sprinkle herbs over my chicken. It also makes the chicken tastier when you sprinkle it with lemon zest.

yummie! I just have to add whole cloves of garlic with the chicken. I can then use bread to dip it into the grease from the chicken and cloves of garlic.
