yeah, it was an old BBC TV programme, called “Top Of The Pops.” The idea was that everyone lip-synched, The producers thought that the the audience should see/ hear the song as it was released. It was only in later years that the odd performer might sing live…
I love george, but he didn’t really sing this, it’s lip synced
