I dated my best friend sophomore year of high school. At the end of the school year, I broke up with her – didn’t see us going anywhere. I broke that poor girl’s heart. I’ll never forgive myself. We’ve remained good friends through the years. She’s still my best friend today. I love her now more than ever. I miss having her in my life as much as I used to. This song makes me cry every time. Thanks to my parents I have had the privilege of listening to some great music from back when they were my age. They are no longer together and this song makes me think of them. Beautiful song, they do not make them this like it anymore :/ kind of embarrassed for one day when my children listen to my music and laugh and call it crap. I will prob agree with them lol
