I completely agree with you and respect your opinion. Beijing’s Opening Ceremony had to have been one of the best ever. However what made Atlanta so special for me is that I remember being an 11 year old kid going crazy watching the games every night during the summer of ’96. From Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson to the Magnificent 7.
Hi. I think that Beijing 2008 was better because many world records has been beaten then. However, every Olimpic game has something special that gathers all the people around the world.
96 Atlanta and London 2012 are definitely my favorites, and in my opinion the best. But the ’96 games had the best theme song ever! This song is proof of that. That’s why ’96 will always be my favorite. I’m still getting the same goosebumps that I used to get as a kid just watching this video. Great memories that I’ll always remember.
