Quantum of Solace wasn’t a great movie but I think this song is pretty good.

Tina Turner should have been the choice. Alicia Keys is no match to Jack White. Not enough power in her voice.
”following the book” perhaps but with great liberties. Casino Royale’s first hour isn’t even in the book (for the most part) the last 20 or so minutes was also not in the book. in the book he has had a number of assignments already in the movie is has just gotten 00 status. added scenes and changed concepts. but allot of the movies did that.
lets not even pretend that Connery and Moore’s Bonds where never ruthless and cold, heck one kill in this movie is from a Moore film!

Yeah, I would have rathered if he didn’t sing, not to say he is a bad singer just.. Didn’t fit A. the bond thing and B didn’t work well with the two.. so yeah.. you get thumbs froms me.

Hmm. Complicated. I enjoy the Daniel Craig Bond more than any of them save Sean Connery, but Craig has yet to have a theme song like “Live And Let Die” or “The Spy Who Loved Me.”
And the Brosnan ones were way too goofy, but they all had awesome, distinctive themes.
The Craig ones are kind of bleah.
“You Know My Name” was kind of catchy, though.
I think the vocals ruined this song, or at least as a James Bond theme song. They’re both good singers, but their voices don’t match James Bond at all

I think the reason the movie wasn’t great was that due to the Writers’ Strike, they ended up filming with only half a script!
Gah, my high school’s big band didn’t do this song justice. I arranged it for a group of over 50 people, but it’s nowhere close to being as amazing as Jack White and Alicia Keys…I guess that’s why we’re an arts school High School band and not professionals…

Yeah I kind of agree. But I think the reason why the movie wasn’t that great is because there was no Q or Moneypenny. I know that they weren’t in Casino Royale but that was a great movie. But I’m glad SkyFall has Q back in because I think the fans miss Q and hopefully they will bring in Moneypenny.
