|Right on the money,
It’s easy to accept charity as an unquestioned good, but Korten and Fine are willing to look deeper and ask if a better way – a more effective and sustainable way – is possible. Their answer is social justice philanthropy, which challenges grantmakers to partner in sustained efforts to affect systemic change. The ten social justice campaigns examined in this book are more than just uplifting stories – they’re concrete examples of the authors’ ideals that are meant to be studied and replicated. The nonprofit sector needs more books like this.
