What’s Up With Gaga? – You and I Video

Hi little monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic, I’m Bridget Daly with the fourth installment of our new segment “What’s Up With Gaga?.” This week was chock full of Mother Monster news, and thankfully most of it is true! Beginning with the biggest news, Gaga’s highly anticipated video for You and I came out this week, and it came out 2 days early! While some initially thought the vid was a leak, Gaga did tweet and Facebook the link to it almost immediately, so there’s a possibility she was in on it the whole time. The video made its TV premiere as planned on Thursday on MTV, but what was even more exciting was the live chat Gaga did with fans at the studio right afterwards. She talked about everything-career-related and personal stuff as well. But the biggest announcement was that not only will Gaga be performing at the VMAs, she’ll be opening the show! So exciting! She’s also rumored to be a part of the Britney Spears tribute during the show, alongside artists like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj. And Speaking of, another rumor hit the internet this week that Gaga and Brit are planning on collaborating on an album a la Watch the Throne style—so stay tuned for more on that. Gaga’s 4 VMA promos also aired this week-all of which were filmed in black and white and during a piano performance of You and I.
