Oh okay, I read that the single came out the month before I was born in December 1990 and hit number in March 1991. Well at least you got to enjoy it when it was new!

Well I was a teenager at the time so I know when it came out. The song came out in 1990. Video for the single was out in 1991 so we’re both correct.

Unfortunately no. To my recollection, I don’t think they used anyone as extras. The majority of kids in this video are too young to have been high school students so I think they brought them in from elsewhere. They had Mariah under such security, not too many people even got to see her.
