Carnage will give her 2nd Oscar next year !
They were getting greedy. They knew Rev Road would get notice and was a larger role so they campaigned her as supporting so that she had to opportunity to win both awards. They tried campaigning still for the Oscars but it backfired and her Rev Road nom wasnt counted and she was upgraded to lead for The Reader (rightfully so)

Revolutionary Road was fairly forgetable and to be teamed with De Caprio for the first time after Titanic, it was truly disappointing. The Reader was one of those movies I usually wouldn’t go see, I wouldn’t go see it agian but I am truly glad I did see it. It stays with you…although the ending was anti-climatic and just…..
