Back in the 90s, I worked at a hotel where Bon Jovi did a meet and greet with fans. He walked through the back of the house, as many famous did, and he acknowledged all of us. Grunge had taken over, and he was only popular in Japan, at that time. Bon Jovi hung out with the 10 die hard fans who showed up for the meet and greet for almost three hours. It’s only rock n roll but I like that, yes I do.

Maybe he’s too much of a dreamer when he believes that this government still wants to work for the citizen, too much of a romantic, too far away from the sad reality, but, like he himself said, “If this romantic can help someone, then I sleep well at night!”
He absolutely didn’t sell his soul. I truly believe that everything that he does in these fields of community service, he does it to help people! Government might be corrupted, inefficient and so on, but he doesn’t do it for the government, he does it for the people! And I think every country needs people like him, who take the risks and get into this type of actions.
