I love the way she talks!!
What I liked was that Ian McShane (the man who played her father) had played Judas Iscariot in “Jesus of Nazareth” (1977). Someone who was (in a way) very close to Jesus. But suffered a tragic end.
And it fit well that Ms. Cruz’s character was an almost nun.
It was a great father/daughter combination. Two characters who were very close to God for a time, but then suffered greatly.
I like this video, I think Penélope Cruz is entirely understandable in her speech. I’m an english teacher and I’ll use this interview to show my students that it’s possible to speak a foreign language and communicate succesfully..
