I agree she is extremely talented, but Kate has had a subtle nose job; it seems Hollywood demands it even if they don’t need one – recent case in point : Natalie Portman. Kate doesn’t appear to have had any other work done though as far as I can tell and has always been beautiful, even with her original nose. Just Google “Kate Winslet nose job before and after” and you will see undeniable evidence of her surgery. I can’t think of one HW A-list actress who is “all natural”, not one.
You,ve just reminded me-I.ve heard that male fashion designers who as it happens happen to be mostly gay men,are really designing clothes for beautiful boys which is why they prefer the female models(who are often just teenage girls) to be stick thin.
& this is from a heterosexual male. Ladies please take note. Don’t feel forced to conform to a celebrity industry that uses unflattering snaps to pass snide judgement on beautiful and/or 30+ yrs old women, or use unnatural photshopped images on their magazine covers. Male, often gay fashion designers that like teenage, androgynous, skinny girls that starve themselves, sometimes to death, to conform to their twisted conceptions of beauty. We need more Kate Winsletts – natural models & actresses.
Don’t think ever seen bad film which Winslett has starred. At least, never seen bad performance. Titanic pretty dismal, but she made the most of it. She’s always totally believable, & u always end up rooting 4 her. & god, she just gets prettier w/ age! A true English rose, a role model 4 girls/women – no orange perma-tan, surgery, implants, skimpy clothes. Dignity, modesty, natural, way > attractive than these plastic z-list reality stars we’re subjected 2 or Photoshopped skinny models.

Kate is so amazing. She’s been one of my idols ever since I first saw her in Titanic. If she doesn’t get the Best Actress Oscar this year, I’ll scream. She is so beyond deserving of it. Six, *SIX* bloody nominations!! She HAS to win this time!
