Not when that person clearly wasn’t sincere in his remorse for his actions. In all of his interviews he portrayed himself as being a smug ‘wife-beating’ prick. He should be locked up for his actions just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t mean he should get a free pass which he pratically has. I like Rihanna and I applauded her for moving on, and now she’s getting close with him again, how foolish – and it doesn’t set a good example for other women who are victims of the same abuse.
When it’s planted all over the news, and she’s happy to have a picture taken of her battered face and let it circulate around the internet and newspapers then it does matter. Her being a victim of domestic violence is pratically condoning it by getting back with him. Nobody actually knows if she is ‘back’ with him, there is no reason why she cannot maintain a friendship with him, but to be in a relasionship with him again is not setting a good example. She’ll not get anyones sympathy next time.
