And I remember LIVE AID organizer Bob Geldof’s response when he learned that Bill Graham (in his usual and despicable fashion) had put The Hooters on the Philadelphia bill without Bob’s knowledge (or permission). . . . “The Hooters? Yeah about the best they had that Day was Dire Straits, Queen, The Who, and David Bowie. The Led Zeppelin reunion was ok to mediocre at best, Page’s guitar was hopelessly out of tune. Nobody had the time to practice
WOW that explains a lot, back in the day I was a disc jockey for a radio station in Vermont and we would get tons of requests for this song from places in Quebec where we had plenty of listeners. Guess our signal was not jammed for just this song after all.
