when i was 5 years old, i heard fallin for the first time. so i learned to play piano. i never stopped. i’ve bought every album since. i’ve put so much more into my music, as a violinist, cellist, pianist and violist, i have no idea where i would be with my music without her. i love her music, and she has truly inspired me.
Thumbs up if she should rock the braids once more for old time sake.

I remember Songs in A Minor ten years ago when my 4 yr old Son would always sit in front of the t.v. to watch Alicia Keys perform a song, not matter where or what he was doing at the time. My Son has an appreciation for good music. My second greatest memory was when my husband and I were watching a program that showed Alicia Keys getting her hair braided. My husband and I were so excited to see that Alicia’s hair was the same texture as our 2 yr old daughter’s hair, who’s also bi-racial.
