lol, yup I came up on this page through Jeremy Rosado *thumbs up* Kelly did the damn thing. Wow. Its funny how Jeremy and Kelly sang this song waaaay better than Carrie Underwood. Carrie sings it to plain. It sounds better with rifs and levels. Thanks Kelly!

This was good, but I so love the way Carrie sings this without that much effort. The way Kelly sang this seems as if she was trying too hard to best the original version.

I first heard this song tonight on American Idol when Jeremy Rosado chose this song for his “sing-for-your-life” performance and it was so heart-felt.I immediately youtubed the song to hear the full version by Carrie and when I played it, it was like a totally different song! I thought, maybe I should hear Carrie’s live version. Nope, still lifeless. Even though she sang it well, it lacked soul.I stumbled upon Kelly’s cover of the song and from the moment I hit play, I didn’t want it to be over!
I fell in love with her when she was on American Idol, and she just gets better and better each year. This girl is absolutely unbelievable. She totally blows this song out of the water.

Why aren’t u Carrie fans just be happy that ur idol’s song is being sung by Kelly? This just shows that she’s not up for any competition and that she herself listens to Carrie’s songs. You guys are super fans of Carrie that u won’t allow other artists be commended for their own right. That’s really immature.

I can’t choose between Carrie and Kelly… They are both INCREDIBLY AMAZING singers with UNBELIEVABLY GREAT live vocals and both of their versions are AMAZING… I love both of them and find it disrespectful to say things like ‘Kelly slammed Carrie’ They sing these songs differently… They are 2 very different versions which Carry focuses on the emotion but Kelly focuses on the arrangement… I think they are both excellent…
@LuvFearlessly even the writter of this song was blown away by kelly.. and one of the contestant on this years idol, sang this song close to kelly clarkson’s arrangement.. lol
