@deniecec1 Well I hate to bring it up but, even with all of the good intentions, working for your food is considered bartering of services and is taxable income. Also, the people “working” there for their food are entitled to at least minimum wage, worker’s compensation insurance, along with the plethora of other workplace regulations that must be followed. How many certified food handlers are working there with the constant turn around of cooks? Many unanswered questions.
@lizard944 Apparently u just don’t get it. The people with their welfare checks who r overflowing the carts with junk r not the people he is aiming at. And as for as the appreciation for the people footing the bill. Well if u have done it u would know. It gives a good feeling. And the people who can’t pay – to pay by working for their meal.

There is something wrong with this picture.Those who are unable to pay must “sing for their supper”by doing what amounts to “workfare”.They are then humiliated further by having to present a voucher,so their server and everyone else knows they cannot pay.I applaud the intention and the well prepared nutritious food.

Bon Jovi said that “one in six” people in this country goes to bed hungry. He’s obviously never been to a Walmart on “gumment” Welfare check day when the trailer trash invade the place with their six kids in tow. Overflowing carts filled with steaks and junk food, loading it into their SUVs with the 22 inch rims, going back to gov’t paid housing & free utilities. Welfare slime can live as well as someone busting their ass making $40K . How about some appreciation for people footing the bill?
If a homeless man walks in, I would tell him to work in the garden and farm me some potatoes. There is no way I would let him wash the dishes or cook food!

@OnlineAutoAuctions He ALWAYS tells where he got the idea from and the whole thing (feel free to google that), don’t make it sound like he stole someone’s idea and claimed his own, he has the opportunity to make plans become reality so he does that, giving credit to EVERYONE who participates, and sets a great example of giving back to the less fortunate.
This is one of the many things this man’s done. It’s brilliant & heart warming and sets a very good example. Seeing the Bongiovi family participate is also great! People like JBJ makes me think there’s still hope for this world…

Jon took this from One world everybody eats foundation (google it y’all get involved) and soallmayeat dot orgy. Jon’s organization just took that idea and spun it to his.
What he needs to do and we ALL need to is do this in every county in America and Canada and open it 7 days a week. Every teenager and community college and university grad needs to do this work for at least 4 mos to get their education in the real world degrees no matter their speciality.
