@scopeless22 They could have done that if they didn’t try to cram 3 books into a 90 min. movie. The same went for the Last Airbender movie. The cartoon was great, but they crammed a year’s worth of cartoon episodes into 90 mins and that ruined to whole story.

The only thing missing from the movies i would have liked would have been more characterization for the mains, since their back stories are really interesting. So, a first for me, i think the movie added something the books failed too and is definitely worth a watch.
I usually dont like movies based on books due to them not following the books. This one is no different in not following the book, as the characters in the movie act nothing like their book counterparts, and the climax and setting are almost completely different. but to be honest it still had a good story. I actually like the kludd in the movie more than the book since he had more characterization and a reason behind his thinking and the climax was much more exciting than what was in the book.
I waited and waited for this to come out. It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in my life!
One thing i really hate is that all these crap animated movies are getting more money than movies like this! Alvin and the chipmunks 2 (well its half animated) GOT HOW MUCH MONEY AND SO THEY MAKE A 3RD!!! but of course a brilliant movie like this one hardly make any profit so they dont make a sequel!!!! WHY CANT PEOPLE KNOW A GOOD MOVIE WHEN THEY SEE ONE?! if this movie earnt more money there would have been a 2nd one made!
@Danielkchoi its based on first 3 books, but i hope they make a sequel! this was a great movie but a bit off the books but was still amazing!
