Yikes, this girl is a scathing critic!! And besides, Kidman DID have a wonderful comeback with Rabbit Hole (one of my favorite films). Although I will admit, Theron as the deliciously malevolent queen is one of the only reasons I will be seeing the seemingly glossy, Special FX-riddled ‘Snow White.’ And..YES..I enjoyed Young Adult. Worth a watch!
Well I don’t know much about theron but i am excited to see her in the huntsman, she looks promising. As for kidman,she did get a nomination last year and mayb that will renew some credibility. As for Berry I don’t think theres much hope. She’s had a rough career *cough* *catwoman* *cough*

i think by this time next year Charlize will be THE Queen of Hollywood as it looks to me her next three films are gonna be major successes both critically and commercially…..also i hope she wins the Golden Globe and secures an Oscar nomination for Young Adult because ive seen it and trust me she deserves every award she gets for it….

can’t wait for Prometheus, and glad Charlize Theron will be in it. I think all three of those ladies are smokin hot and are all great actresses as well.
And don’t forget Charlize Theron will play in Mad Max: Fury Road which is planned to shoot next year.

@Tigerlily21 I really couldn’t disagree more. Kidman received rave reviews for Rabbit Hole, and her performance was my personal favorite of last year. She earned that nomination. I agree though that Theron is coming back in a big way though, and I cannot wait for Young Adult. I’m sure that movie will be a new favorite for me.
Halle Berry is great, and she deserves better than what she’s getting.
Though I’m sure Theron is going to get a hefty amount of recognition for this rendition of snow white, which is a story they haven’t rebooted in nearly ten years, because it’s a dark fantasy, it might not earn any of its actors awards.

@BitchesCallMeTFree Kidman may have gotten a nomination based on how big her name was and some decent reviews, but people have instantly forgotten about her performance and movie. Theron got a nomination for North Country just two years after her win and now she’s back with what promises to be her most memorable role (some even say more than Monster) with Young Adult. Plus two mainstream films with a good chance of doing well. Kidman’s last film went straight to video.
@stanstan009 I’m pretty sure she is going to steal the Snow White movie, but I doubt it gets any awards attention. It’s not the kind of film awards go for. But her Jason Reitman movie Young Adult coming out this year should get her back in the awards race.
@BeyondTheTrailer Yeah, that’s very true actually. Not too many people have seen either of those movies. I don’t know if I ever see her finding that mainstream/indie balance however. And I can’t wait for 2012, because I LOVE Charlize Theron.

I agree that Halle Berry’s career is pretty much gone, but Nicole Kidman totally proved her credibility in Cold Mountain and Rabbit Hole. Did you forget her oscar nomination for best actress last year for Rabbit Hole?
I love halle berry and charlize theron I believe they’re both great actresses and just because they’ve had a bad role doesn’t make them horrible I blame the cat woman failure on the script as opposed to halle’s acting
