I think she should record this on her next album. I can’t even begin to imagine how amazing this would sound in the studio. If I remember correctly, this was back in 2004 when I watched Idol. I never watched til these rounds where they had people start voting. She was my favorite immediately from this performance, and I’m SO happy she won! I’m about to see her live for the 3rd year in a row now.

Okay I just listened to Tiffany’s version because well it’s been a while since I’ve heard it. While Tiffany is talented it’s obvious Carrie is a better vocalist. So if you prefer Tiffany’s because it’s the first version you heard and it reminds you of kissing your first love while this song plays in the background then cool. However if you like it because it’s vocally better, it’s not. Just shooting straight here.
