@fanof511 I agree. His mother was his rock. She guided him and kept him on the straight and narrow. I don’t think we understand how close him and his mom really were. When she died something in him died also. As much as he loved entertaining, his wife, his daughter, his family, nothing in his life could fill that void that she left…not even the drugs. They would only serve to destroy him.
If elvis did died for real how come he wasnt honored? As A war vet,there was no american flag no 21 gun salute,i belive elvis was very patriototic.Kennedy an Lincoln were moved by horse and carriage,Elvis was aking a icon more power then most presidents.My heart says he alive my head says hes dead. percillia and lisa were at graceland but it says they were suppose to be in L.A..A custome made casket 900 lbs and autospy and funeral all within 10 hours time.No close friends invited.Answer these?

@fanof511 – I agree. Depression kills, and he had regrets like we all do. Priscilla could of helped him, but he was truly brokenhearted. I am, and I was…My father killed himself, due to depression OF THE SOUL. I think your comment sums it up. I like the term you use – “Soul tired.” See how healthier and relieved he looked after he got off the stage and was heading for the Limo??? He was only human and we all share in humanity. Thanks.
Elvis lived before the internet, mobile phones, etc.
He was so unique, so special-thankfully his fans managed to “bring him over” to the internet, so that younger generations can see just what he was.
However, with Elvis there really aren’t words to describe him. His videos will speak to generations to come but its best not to try to explain for them—just let them watch.

Elvis was an overindulging, overweight, drug addicted glutton. Whatever amazing gift he possessed in his early years was eventually destroyed through his own actions. He was surrounded by enablers and they all have themselves to blame for his demise.

For- Ever Loved by his adoring fans. What he looked like in his final days takes nothing away from the love . it is sad to see him like that my heart breaks every time I watch something like this video but I try to think of him as he was before the end. People said rotten things about him back then and they still say rotten things now after all these years they were jealous then and I guess they still are & mostly always will be. thank you for posting this
