@kathyli1310 Adele is one of the only real singers out there who can actually sing really REALLY well! You know she had throat surgery not to long ago because when she sings she can hit really high notes dead on key and it sadly ruined one of her vocal cords. She does not deserved to be called the things you said about her. Her apperance has NOTHING to do with her outstanding ability to sing! And you know what? I THINK SHE’S BEAUTIFUL. JUDGE NOT OTHERS LEST YOU BE JUDGED. You should be ashamed!

i know a lot of people criticize her as a country-artist, but what she does that others in her category fail to do is make country music contemporary and popular- something that’s clearly not an easy thing to do!

I am not a fan of Taylor Swift. I don’t like her voice but I do respect her as an artist. She has been so successful. I love how Keith Urban and Blake Shelton stand up in applause when Taylor is announced as the winner. That is how show business should be. It should not be how Kanye acted and I am so glad that some artists actually have respect for others.
I do enjoy Taylor Swift’s humble personality, and though she does self-promote at times that’s what you’re supposed to do. If you don’t self-promote you will be left behind, especially in this economy. And I’m a huge country fan but in terms of work and effort put forth… she’s been working her buns off to make herself a staple. Keith Urban? Brad Paisley? Blake Shelton? They’re already staples. I’ve grown up listening to them.
