i like this version way better
I’ve only ever heard Yvonne singing this and it one of my ALL TIME favorite songs. I actually have a CD, a cassette and it’s on my MP3 as well so I am thrilled to know the Bee Gees are responsible for it. I like their version as well. It’s just a great song.
Yeah you youngsters need to take a trip back in time when it was really getting started good music excellent lyrics and songs given to other performers who took them steps further but the BEEGees are the ultimate singer songwritier performers…love love love them..and only got better with time…Yes I love Barry lol.
The Bee Gees were one of the best bands of the disco era.

@viniciusbarros I think they’re both beautiful versions to listen to. Yvonne’s version is for women who didn’t get the man they dreamed of. Bee Gees’ version is for men like me who never got the woman they dreamed of.

I love this song and the BeeGees are one of my fav groups ever and i like this version better because it has the normal feeling of the BeeGees in it, and Yvonnie sings it well also but when i listen to her sing it i feel like there is alot of build up where she is going to sing with real energy and then kills that and keeps it more mellow then the feeling she portrays.
“saturday night fever” is by far the best soundtrack album ever. each and every song and bands are simply timeless.
This song is epic win.
My husband can listen to the BGees all day and all night. I love them as well.
