I think this chess set was worth it for me. I was always into chess, but was never really serious about it until now. I wanted an affordable and nice looking set that is magnetic and can fold because I carry it to school. This chess set is almost perfect for me except that the magnet under the “king” pieces are not strong enough to hold them still when the board is held vertical (as shown advertised). It stood fine at any other angle though. Also, I wish that the compartment would have slots dedicated to hold each pieces individually rather than having one huge space as the pieces will roll around and may leave scratch. A solution for this is to store the pieces inside two small bags then put them in the compartment. It’s worth noting that these pieces are not weighted and the king measures almost 2.4″ and the pawns are about 1″. That’s all.
