I need to know HOW?,
I thought the book would tell me how to do the “tips” it told me about. Now I know my phone can do many wonderful things. but HOW? A few did give directions, but where do I find out HOW to apply the rest of them? If you are tech savvy and just need to know what your droid can do, then this guide would help you. If you need to know HOW, then look for another book! Did I say HOW enough?

|Marginally worth the price,
As a newbie to Android I found half a dozen of the tips to be of real use (for example, I didn’t know you could add a link to a web page to the phone’s home page) so these made the book worth the price to me. But the author really had to stretch to come up with 101 tips (How to tell which version of Android you’re using!) and as one of the other reviews pointed out the book would benefit from more information on how to actually do some of the things described.

|A lot of inaccurate information,
I was “loaned” this Kindle book, so I didn’t have to pay for it, but if I had, I’d be mad. As of June 22, 2011, I have Android 2.2.1 and many of the tips do not work or are inaccurate. The book also mentions apps that are no longer available or are no longer free. There’s some good information in here, but if you are a new Android user, you will find it frustrating trying to figure out which tips are good and which are out of date.
