Fantastic city guide,
This is one of the best guide books I’ve ever bought. There’s suggested itineraries for 1-3 days, special interests, different neighborhoods and areas, and also day trips out of San Diego. The guide also has a hotel section and restaurant & nightlife listings. As if that’s not enough, they’ve also included a full-size, tear resistant map.
This guide won’t give you indepth details, but it provides good, brief descriptions, addresses and phone numbers, hours of operation, etc., and also maps to help you plan your days smartly.
If you’re going to be in San Deigo, get this guide. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic information and the perfect size to carry around with you.

|San Diego,
That’s from far the best collection of city guide I used. In that book you will get everything to visit in the area and well organised. You get also a real map and it is small enough to take with you when you walk in the city. Very good value! If you need to get one and do not want to waste your money on trying something else, that’s the one you was looking for

|Made the Trip,
I purchased this for friends visiting the area and they loved it. They found great places to eat and visit. They especially loved the animal park and winery’s. Most Guide Books cover mostly San Diego. This one covers it but is concentrated on the North County where there is also so much to do and explore. I like this because it is more inclusive of things to do in the whole county.

|Used the 2008 version,
This helped us a lot on our visit to San Diego in the Spring of 2010. We will purchase the 2010 version.

|Search elsewhere,
I prefer color photos and maps. This book has a lot of information, however while on vacation, I prefer short summaries, not novels.
