@itswoohoo It’s not that, it’s just the music is kind of covering her voice. And besides, it sounds kinda different from her other songs. It doesn’t make me love her less or doubt her ability to sing.

@itswoohoo Next to You was a nice ballad. Isn’t it funny how so often great songs are overlooked, while other mediocre songs will get chosen to be released as singles (all because it might have a catchier tune or more commercial appeal while not necessarily being better songs)?

I know I might be offending some Paula Abdul fans out there, but I never really was into her or any of her most popular songs. Keep in mind, I didn’t dislike her… her singing just wasn’t my thing! But when I had been given this CD of Paula Abdul, I really didn’t care much for most of the 10 tracks on it, except for this one. I loved this song! But strangely enough, the one song I really liked never became a hit. LOL
