Whether you’ve been there or not, this book is a must-read for anyone with an interest in Italy. You can pick through it as fast as you like, and then go back and savor the wonderful photos at your leisure. There is also an amazing amount of information packed into the text, in a manner so digestable that you won’t even realize that you’re learning some really useful stuff. It’s a great primer for the first-time visitor, and for those who have already been there, it’ll bring back memories of just how lovely that country is. If this volume doesn’t get those travel-juices going, I don’t know what would.
