I’ve loved this song since high school;had forgotten about it for a minute and glad I came across it. I need ALL the inspiration I can get to live a life better than this.
This song always makes me cry, overcoming the things that hold you back in life is so hard, it’s like a rocket launching into space, the sound is deafening, those bonds break away, fire and smoke fill the air, and you attempt to rise. So many fall back to earth, but there are some who break through the atmosphere and are rewarded with the silence and peace of success. That’s why they cry when they get the gold medal, and we cry with them, because the overcame the world.
