In 2008, her second album, “Fearless”, spent 8 weeks at number one, making Taylor one of the most popular artists of the 21st century. Starting out as an average girl growing up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift loved to write music and compete in music competitions. Even though she was often made fun of and had a hard time making friends, she always had a dream of becoming a country music star. After many years of hard work and practice, the young artist moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she eventually signed with Big Machine Records.
