Misleading and NOT a Biography,
I was interested in purchasing this book because the preview pages featured detailed information about Beyonce’s familial and cultural background. I assumed the rest of the book was the same and that I would be able to immensely add on to my knowledge about Beyonce` personally and in her career. NOT THE CASE AT ALL. There are 12 chapters total and majority of the book is the author’s personal commentary on Beyonce’s career (most of which is negative). The book is HARDLY a biography and doesn’t speak much to Beyonce’s life. Don’t waste your money. Purchase “Soul Survivors,” the official bio by Destiny’s Child instead.
