For what happened in WCW as far as I’m concerned is in the past. I was a diehard WCW fan back then and I remember not only Russo complaining about standards and practices but Bob Ryder and Jeremy Borash would take about them as well on WCW Live. I don’t agree with everything he does but at the same time he isn’t the worst thing to ever happen in pro wrestling.

I don’t think TNA has enough time throughout the week to build up an entire ppv considering they only have 1 show per week. It’s not like WWE where they have Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and superstars.I think building up 2-4 matches for the ppv works in their favor. Besides most people who buy ppvs only want to see a couple matches anyways and stay for the rest of the card. Look at how WWE built up wrestlemania. They only hyped Taker/Triple-H, Miz/Cena, and Rhodes/Mysterio.
Why does Hogan always have to come out during the world title promos and make it about him? It gets on my last nerve. EVERY SINGLE World Title promo Hogan has to interrupt and ruin epic moments like Sting and Anderson in each other’s face etc. No wonder Sting wants to wax you dude lol. You’ve been following him for 17 years.
TNA doesn’t always make the same mistakes WCW did. The fans wanted him to kick ass, and it’s better late than never. It was awesome when he dropped Eric Bischoff. I was hoping he’d put the scorpion death lock on Hogan and break his back.
@sakonhagakure As far as PPVs go, this is one of these very few times Russo does a decent job of building PPVs. But it’s been almost his entire time being head booker, whether it be WCW or TNA, that he waits til the last show before the PPV to annouce the bulk of matches at the PPV.
People should be knowing of ALL matches on the card at least two weeks before the PPV and more importantly they MUST HAVE A GREAT AMOUNT OF BUILD.

BUUUUUT look at this!…If this or that would have happened, and everyone did what there told to do, and standards and practices-BLAH BLAH BLAH”. He never comes full circle and takes his part of the blame. He can never truly be believed.
