I soooo agree. Keith deserves this award but he’s still not getting all he deserves. Musically Keith has put Australia on the map and country artists are now going there because of him. Then here, even when he did get the Jim Reeves International award it was low-key and they didn’t even televise it for all to see! He is quite humble but he does deserve more recognition also because he’s an all-around musician…a true artist….and….he’s earned it!

He deserves this and every other award possible. He is a consummate artist and an awesome human being!
When is Keith Urban going to get his deserved recognition in the Australian Music and Australian Country Music Industries – His achievements alone rank him as Australia’s highest achieving male musician – Keith at least deserves a bronzed monument that stands as tall and proud beside Slim Dusty – Slim is Australia’s King of Country Music from his era but without doubt Keith Urban has put Australian music on map and he is the reason country music in Australia continues to thrive – He is #1 …
So deserving of this award! It’s been a long, hard road with lots of ups and downs. Congratulations Keith!
