Super Bowl Commercials 2011

Idiot Goes to Fake E3 bit.ly www.mahalo.com While the Super Bowl is most definitely a football event, it’s also an event for those who love commercials – and advertisers have some big ones planned for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV. Some of the biggest companies in the US pay big bucks to pitch products to a captive Super Bowl audience of more than 100 million viewers. This year, some of the most prominent ones to watch include spots from Volkswagen, Snickers, GoDaddy.com, Skechers and Best Buy. The Volkswagen Darth Vader commercial, “The Force,” was leaked by the company days before the Super Bowl. The ad features a little boy, dressed as Darth Vader from Star Wars, trying to use his powers on his dad’s 2012 Volkswagen Passat. Snickers is back with another Super Bowl ad – minus Betty White. A preview of the ad shows it features Roseanne Barr and Richard Lewis. GoDaddy.com’s ad features celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels and race car driver Danica Patrick – the ad tells viewers to visit the GoDaddy.com website to see more. The Skechers Super Bowl ad features reality star Kim Kardashian. According to MSNBC, Kardashian will “break someone’s heart” in the ad. Best Buy is airing its first-ever Super Bowl commercial with a clip that features teen singing sensation Justin Bieber and rocker (and Prince of Darkness) Ozzy Osbourne. In the ad, which is being kept “under wraps,” Bieber and Osbourne are expected to promote a new “buy back” program for Best Buy customers. Other ads to watch
