Put Lauren and Carrie head to head both at 17 and Carrie still would smoke Lauren. Lauren’s mediocre while Carrie’s one of the best in the business.

Well duh! Lauren’s not that good and Scotty’s even worse (one of the worst in the top 13/24), either of which would get smoked by about any really country star, let one of the best in Carrie Underwood.

@IdolXfactor Carrie probably would be able to all the contestants not just Lauren. And Carrie does that withoout even trying to do it. Carrie got powerful vocals, none of the contestants would be able to do it.

I felt competition. I don’t think it’s the real meaning of artistry and collaboration. I went pity for baby Lauren. She outshined her when it was suppose to give Lauren all the time to show greatness….

Unfortunately she chose the wrong song. If she had of chosen a soft duet with another singer, and placed the limelight more on her she would have won Idol. Not knockin Scotty, he will be rich and famous regardless, great voice and person.
In the End, Both were great, but a shout out to Canada………Ever heard of Canadian Idol??? Talent in the Ice too! lol
