@johnykoop Dunno. I don’t think there’s a joke I haven’t gotten. Give me an example. I mean I can’t speak for all americans but still if I knew what you were referring to maybe I could hazard a guess. I wouldn’t’ say it’s the accent but it could be a slight cultural divide. I mean the two countries have evolved independent of each other for quite a bit. There’s slang and references that people from both countries just won’t get. That being said, I love Ricky Gervais he’s fucking awesome.

Ricky made a comedy tv series called EXTRAS in which every episode had an internactional star invited making fun of themselves. In one episode Kate Winslet was playing a noon in the Holocaust and Ricky´s role tells her how great is making a holocaust movie remembering it and she says she´s doing it because every holocaust movies are full of oscars and she wants her own. The script was written by Ricky and that´s where the joke come from.
if its possible to say one race is inherently better at something, than that automatically means another race is inferior in a way. attributing a persons skills or weakness to their racial ethnicity is practically the definition of racism. even if your trying to compliment them.
