What with Connery playing Robin Hood with a Scottish accent, Crowe playing Robin Hood with an Irish accent and Kostner playing him with an American accent some viewers might have trouble realising that Robin Hood was English…Well Saxon…which has long been embodied as English.
わたくし日本人 Japanese ですけど。
I have VHS of this movie, but DVD i have not, I can’t watch now… so, this trailer make me happy, thank you!
Richard Lester and David Watkin is great, I like “Three Musketeers” too!
and John Barry’s music sounds like from heaven…
Sean Connery and Robert Shaw first crossed swords with each other in “From Russia With Love” back in 1963. I loved how this movie was a rematch of sorts between the two stars a mere 13 years later!
that’s a nonsense, if we say things like that we can say that the film was shooted in the north of spain too!, not in england….. connery was great like audrey and robert shaw……
to have Audrey back, after 8 years of absence, in the movies, was one of my big joys of 1976. I Saw this film about 10 times, in a movie theatre, and the finale is absolutely adoring. Audrey was, and is, angelic. I love this film, and it,s music. Thanks so much for this video. Carlos
A Scotsmen playing the role of Robin Hood….?….Tis a sincere insult to Englishmen everywhere!!. Robin was an out and out pure Englishmen and to be portrayed by a sweaty Sock, is truly insulting and utterly farsical.

It’s on Hulu, if you want to watch it.
@PaintTheSilence1 It’s so cute. I love it. The only reason I watched it was for Audrey. I love her so much. She’s great. <3

@shangrilar during the 12/13th century Earl of Huntingdon was a vassal of the Scottish king
so Robin might just have been a Scot
