@153masterchief
come on journey
Such avant-garde music !! What style and tempo !! There’s no match to Knopfler and team
@153masterchief hallelujah brother!
friends of my little brother carried him out of the church while this song was playing. only emotions while listening to this great song!
@Hobinator17 the 80s
VIDEO IS HORRIBLE if compared with song….
Awesome song but the video is really terrible. 80s directing at it’s worst lol.
When i went from Teenage to adulthood, everything changed musically for me around 1979 / 80, ahh, those happy go lucky times when anything seemed possible and we had all the time in the world on our side…………..
la musica dei Dire io ce l’ho in testa ma prima di tutto nel cuore da oltre 20anni, non ce l’ho con gli artisti odierni, ma nessuno di loro riesce a darmi i brividi come i Dire Straits……
@153masterchief One of these things is really not like the other. How the fuck does journey fit in there ?
one of my favorite songs ever, but y does the video have to be so literal?
director- “ok people, the line says ‘i put my hand up on the lever’, so were bringing in a lever. and it also says ‘the big wheel keeps on turning’, so were gunna put a giant wheel in the video. ITS GENIUS!!!!!”
GREAT MARK
@153masterchief Like u say, “You say Lady Gaga I say The Doors xD
instead of bragging about comparing nowadays songs to old-school ones, why don’t you just shut up and listen to this awesome and beautiful song??
This is the best solo ever btw :’)
me to
@153masterchief Every generation has its one hit wonders and teen idols. I think it’s a been of a strawman for you to compare one generation’s teen idols to the legends of a previous generations. I could do that too, see:
You say Tony Basil, I say Ray Lamontagne
You say Hanson, I say John Mayer
You say Debbie Gibson, I say My Chemical Romance
See, it’s pretty easy. Also, Taylor Swift writes her own music, for both her self and other musicians, and does not deserve to be in your rant.
Why do people care so much what other people are listening to? Most people in any generation listen to pop music. What I do know, though, that this song features my favorite guitar solo of all time.
@ ReminiscenceS2:
Ur so right!
@ most other commenters here:
I agree with u too! (Too many to list; basically all the likers, who r liberal n sane. Lol)
@153masterchief hey, i used to say that too. but i don’t think it’s right to call that a “crappy music.” they’re living in another centry and we’re just trying to convince them that our music is better. it’s not right and their music can be unfamiliar to you thus weird and crazy but guess what, they’ll probably say the same thing to the next generations. let’s stop arguing which are better and which are not. besides, think about it, did beethoven died? good arts won’t die so don’t worry
6:14 – end could listen to this instrumental all day long, again and again
gotta love the absolute literal video – pretty girl – hustler – muscle – tunnel – neon light. They don’t make em like that any more

those kids nowadays think coldplay, snow patrol and kings of leon are rock’n'roll… what a shame.
Love the song…Love the album….the good old days when excellent rock songs were plentiful!
