Madonna is about charisma and amazing performing skills, not the best voice (although I do detect a lot of power in it, she just gotta know how to use it) but her presence is just.. iconic.
Christina is THE voice, like a younger Whitney. Britney is a sweet girl who just enjoys herself and a pretty good dancer (as Madonna is aswell)
And Missy is just pure fun and of course a big talent
So you see they all have their qualities

I agree!! I don’t think this will ever be topped! Best VMA opening! I loved the performance and of course Britney and Christina and obviously Madonna but is Christina even singing?? Im sure she is but when all three of them sing you can hear Britney and Madonna specifically. Christina just blends in which is odd since she has a powerful voice.
And Christina is such a bitch! She claimed Britney lip-synched here. No way in hell did she lip-synch this performance!

i think that psychological/probable drug induced breakdown that britney had really took a toll on her vocal abilities.. she was actually pretty decent here. Modonna is and always will be queen of pop and i hope madonna and gaga will perform together at an awards show and mash their songs together (good idea to do express yourself and born this way to get people pissed again).. i know they did something on snl but i want to see something grand hahaha
